East Village Housing

 

 

Four blocks of dilapidated Section-8 housing were razed to make way for this $16.5 million 90-unit Low Income Housing Tax Credit project. Completed for the Denver Housing Authority, this is the fourth phase of a $177 million HOPE VI urban redevelopment.

 

The project sits on an entire downtown Denver city block at Park Avenue and Court Place. Three stories of wood frame construction over concrete structured parking rings an urban community garden.
